FREE Apprenticeship Levy Advice for the health and social care industry
The UK Government are to launch the Apprenticeship Levy by April 2017 to create more apprenticeship roles by 2020.
In order to do this the Government is implementing an Apprenticeship Levy which will be put in place by April 2017. It will be a fundamental change to the way Apprenticeships in England are funded.
Employers with a UK paybill of over £3m from both private and public sectors will be required to contribute 0.5% of that into a levy. The levy payment will then be transferred into an electronic voucher for which companies can buy apprenticeship training with. You’ll receive an allowance of £15,000 to offset your levy payment.
Are you in the health and social care industry? Are you unsure what Apprenticeship Levy means to you?
